The Jasper Volunteer Fire Department joined in the shaving cream fun at the annual Shaving Cream Wiffleball game held at Bohnert Park in Jasper on Friday.
With rules as slippery as the Wiffleballs and shaving cream-covered field, the firefighters and hundreds of kids that turned out had a great time, with everyone walking off the field a winner.

Brandon Kieser, 9, connected with the ball at his first at-bat.
Every hit was met with a crowd of coverage from the fielders.
Jillian Erny, 7, had her eye on the ball as she swung for the fences.
Jasper Volunteer Firefighter Lt. Jay Eckstein served up the cream-filled wiffleballs, attempting to give every young batter a chance to hit. Fellow volunteer firefighters, however, faced trickier pitching.
Firefighter Kyle Kieser destroyed a pitch from Eckstein.
Allen Ondiek, 9, grinned after a slide allowed him to avoid the tag at second base.
Teegan Horney, 6, stayed alive in the batter’s box as the friendly game gave him plenty of chances to connect with a ball and get on base.
Drake Lichlyter, 12, caught the final out of the game on Friday with Volunteer Firefighter Nick Nowakowski there for backup. Drake made several slippery catches during the game.
