Sharon S. Wilz, 72, Jasper
Sharon S. Wilz, 72, of Jasper, passed away with family by her side at 7:49 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2026, at the Timbers of Jasper.

Sharon was born in Huntingburg on December 9, 1953, to Ralph and Maletta (Hachmeister) King.
She married Thomas A. Wilz on March 30, 1985.
Sharon was a 1972 Huntingburg High School graduate.
She proudly served the community as an insurance agent for over 30 years. She retired from German American Insurance in 2012.
She was a past member of the downtown merchants and one of the founders of Kids Day.
She had an eye for holiday decorating, especially at Christmas. She enjoyed crafting, flowers and spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas Wilz of Jasper; four children, Rachelle (Scott) Beckman of Dubois, Aaron (Terri) Owens of Ireland, Brittney (Brian) Bell of Jasper, and Andrea Wilz of Jasper; eight grandchildren, Austin (Whitney) Brown, Braiden Beckman, Carson Beckman, Taylor and Addison Owens, Landon, Kaleigh, and Mason Dunn; four great-grandchildren, Luke Ledbetter, Hadleigh and Korbin Brown, and Emersyn Larson; two brothers, Gary (Debi) King and Stan (Cathie) King; and nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
A funeral service for Sharon S. Wilz will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Becher Kluesner Northside Funeral Home in Jasper. Suzie Hemmer will officiate. A burial will be held at a later date in Enlow Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 29, at the Becher Kluesner North side chapel. A second visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. (service time) at the funeral home on Thursday.
