Sharon Kaye Neukam, 64, Haysville

She was born in Jasper, Indiana on September 8, 1952, to Lewis and Marie (Weisheit) Eichmiller.
She was a graduate of Dubois High School Class of 1970. Sharon worked at the Schnitzelbank Restaurant in Jasper for 14 years and was a childcare provider since 1973.
She is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville where she served on the church council, the Altar Guild and member of St. Paul’s Choir. She also taught Sunday School for 17 years; (WELCA) Women’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of American and Haysville Fire Department Auxiliary for 25 years.
Sharon especially enjoyed her grandchildren and the children she cared for.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Neukam; three daughters, Jackie Mundy (Scott) of Huntingburg, Mindy Lueken (Tim) of Celestine and Brittney Prechtel (Dennis) of Ireland; nine grandchildren, Kade, Kassidy, Kayla, Elijah, Keaton, Grace, Taylor, Abrahm and Elin; mother, Marie Eichmiller Thimling of Haysville; sisters, Beverly Beckman (Dennis) of Haysville, Marlene Livingston (Dan) of Haysville and brother, Sam Eichmiller (Missy) of Bedford.
Preceding her in death is her father, Lewis Eichmiller and stepfather Frank Thimling.
Funeral services for Sharon Neukam will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 30, 2017, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville with burial to follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery. Rev. Karen Husby will officiate.
Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at the church. WELCA of St. Paul’s will hold a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
