Sharon A. Letterman, 63

Sharon A. Letterman, age 63, of Haysville, Indiana passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

Sharon was born in Kyana, Indiana on February 24, 1950 to John and Clara (Schaefer) Petry. She married Gayle Rhea Letterman on July 6, 1992. He preceded her in death on September 11, 2013.

Sharon worked at OFS and Jasper Wood Products for many years.

She enjoyed spending time with family.

She is survived by three daughters, Lisa Letterman and her partner, Scott Roberts, of Haysville, Melinda McCarty and partner, John Autry, of English. and Darla Niehaus and her husband William, of Ferdinand; two sons, Bob Buechlein and wife Stacia, of Santa Claus, Dean Letterman, of Jasper; 18 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; one sister, Rose Mullis, and her husband Leo, of St. Meinrad; two brothers, John Petry, and his wife Mary Ann, of Dubois, and Kenneth Petry, of Kyana.

Preceding her in death are one sister, Alberta Messmer and five brothers, Clarence, Ray, Jerome, Edward and James Petry

Funeral services for Sharon A. Letterman will be held at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday (November 20, 2013) at Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, with burial to follow at a later date.

Friends may call from 3:00 p.m. until the 7:15 p.m. service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
