Shannon M. Detzer, 46

Shannon M. Detzer, 46, of Chrisney, Indiana passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at her home surrounded by family.

Shannon was born in Owensboro, Kentucky on August 11, 1968 to Norman and Sharon (Brown) Patmore.

She had worked at SpringLeaf Financial in Evansville for 28 years. She enjoyed reading, cooking, working outdoors, and spending time with her children.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Evelyn Brown, Eugene Patmore, and Marie Patmore.

Shannon is survived by her husband Dwayne Detzer of Chrisney; children, Morgan Erny and her husband, Zach of Jasper, Jade Detzer of New Albany, Joe Detzer of Chrisney, and Rebecca Detzer of Rockport; parents, Norman and Sharon Patmore of Santa Claus; grandfather, Roy Brown of Santa Claus; siblings, Kevin Patmore and his wife, Jodi of Santa Claus and Amy Busler and her husband, Sam of Santa Claus; many nieces and nephews.

Services are 11 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2015, at the Boultinghouse Funeral Home, Youngblood Chapel 36 E. Market St., Chrisney, IN 47611.

Rev. Bob Duley will officiate with burial in Oak Hill Cemetery in Chrisney, Indiana.

Visitation is from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2015, and from 9 a.m. until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home in Chrisney.
