Second annual run to benefit Riley as well as two local causes

The second annual Run4Riley 5K & Fun Run which is jointly sponsored by Woods Printing Company and Holland Kiwanis Club will take place on Saturday, July 29th at the Holland Park in Holland.

There will be walker and runner categories with prizes in different age groups as well as a Fun Run for kids 10 and under. Corporate sponsorship money will directly support efforts at Riley Hospital for Children.

Additionally, all net proceeds collected through runner entry fees will be donated to two local causes. First, the Lexi Mattingly Memorial Fund.  Lexi Mattingly tragically passed away in April from a heart defect and this fund was created in her honor to provide scholarships for area students.  Secondly, the run will benefit Kamden McKeough.  Kamden is a 12-year-old Holland resident who has been suffering from seizures since he was 18 months old.  On July 3, 2017, Kamden will be undergoing brain surgery at Riley Hospital for Children to remove scar tissue from his left temporal lobe that doctors believe to be causing his seizures.
