Scott A. Birk, 53, of Hartland, Maine, passed away March 2, 2026, in Portland, Maine.

He was born on December 27, 1972, in Jasper.

Scott graduated from Pike Central High School in 1993. He went on to work for T&E Welding out of Petersburg as a welder and was happy to be employed by his longtime friends, Tiny and Nichole Evans.

Scott is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Colby) Williams Riggs; two grandchildren; his sister, Pheobe (Shawn) Kendall; his brother, Dustin J. (Sue) Nolan; his nephews, Randall Kendall and Austin Kendall; and a niece, Adalyn Nolan.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Sophia Birk Price.

Services for Scott will take place at 1 p.m. EDT on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg with visitation from 10 a.m. EDT until service time. The burial will follow at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Campbelltown. Harris Funeral Home is entrusted with care.
