Schnellville Community Club Picnic coming up in September

The Schnellville Community Club’s annual picnic returns this September, spread across three days of card games, classic cars, volleyball, and the fire department’s fried and BBQ chicken dinners.

Festivities kick off Tuesday, September 15, with a Low Rum card tournament, followed by a car show and volleyball tourney on Saturday, September 19, and a full slate of food, raffles, and kids’ activities — including a kiddie tractor pull — on Sunday, September 20.

Tuesday, September 15

  • 6:00 PM – Low Rum card tourney sign-up (tourney begins 6:30 PM)

Saturday, September 19

  • 8:00 AM–Noon – Car show registration
  • 8:00 AM – Food stand opens
  • 8:00 AM – Co-ed sand volleyball tourney
  • 3:00 PM – Car show awards

Sunday, September 20

  • 9:00 AM – Food stand opens
  • 10:00 AM – Country store opens
  • 11:00 AM – Schnellville Fire Department fried or BBQ chicken dinners, quilt raffle, grand raffle, ice cream stand, and kids’ games/bounce house open
  • 1:00 PM – Kiddie tractor pull registration (pull at 2:00 PM)
  • 3:00 PM – Grand raffle drawing
