Sara M. Stilwell, 81, Winslow

Sara M. Stilwell, 81, of Winslow, passed away at Deaconess Gateway on Friday, September 16, 2022.

She was born in Petersburg, Indiana, on June 23, 1941, to Lee and Edna (Fox) Cockerham.

Sara attended the Petersburg First Church of God and was a homemaker.

Sara is survived by a daughter, Annette Sharp; son, Kevin Stilwell; sisters, Nelda Ellis and Cloetta Sipes; grandchildren, Tabitha Willis, Dustin Stilwell, Trisha Bottoms, Michael Matthews, Maggie Stilwell, Jason and Matthew Hall; several great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wilbert; daughters, Debra Brothers and Tina Matthews; brothers, Travis and Odell Cockerham; sisters, Lois Shuckman and Wanda Howell; and granddaughter, Nicole Stilwell.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. EST on Monday, September 19, 2022, at O.D. Harris Funeral Home in Petersburg, Indiana, with burial to follow at Stilwell Cemetery in Pikeville. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until service time.
