Sara G. Kempf, 65, Schnellville

Sara G. Kempf, 65, of Schnellville, passed away at 9:49 p.m. on Sunday, February 16, 2020, in Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper after a courageous battle with cancer. 

Sara was born in Jasper on June 19, 1954, to Helen Murray. 

She was a 1972 graduate of Jasper High School. Sara worked for Simple Transport in Dubois where she was a truck driver for many years. She enjoyed flower gardening, antiquing, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends. 

She is survived by two children, Alysha (Salih) Tonuc of Cambridge City, Ind. and Shane Kempf of Palmdale, Calif.

Preceding her in death is her mother, Helen Murray.

A celebration of life memorial service for Sara G. Kempf will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 20, 2020, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial at a later date. A visitation will be held from 3:00 p.m. until the 7:00 p.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel on Thursday.
