Sandy Hemmerlein joins the Springs Valley Trust Department

Spring Valley Bank & Trust Company welcomes Sandy Hemmerlein as a new trust officer.

“The addition of Sandy Hemmerlein brings a new level of expertise to our department, furthering our commitment to providing traditional trust and estate planning to the communities we serve,” said Marty Kaiser, senior vice president and senior trust officer at Springs Valley.

In her role as trust officer, Hemmerlein will administer trust accounts, ensure compliance with laws and regulations, and develop and maintain relationships with referral sources as well as potential and current customers.

“I am very excited to have this opportunity to join Springs Valley as a trust officer and am anxious to apply my law and governmental background experience in providing professional assistance in the areas of personal, corporate, and governmental trust services,” said Hemmerlein. “I look forward to working with the entire trust team, their clients, and all of the employees at Springs Valley.”

Prior to joining Spring Valley, Sandy was the Jasper City Attorney where she created written policies and procedures and developed standardized documents for various governmental functions. She also co-led the city’s initiative to develop and implement the plans of becoming a renowned CLEAN Community through the Indiana Department of Environmental Management. Hemmerlein holds a doctorate of jurisprudence and a bachelor of arts in political science from Indiana University.
