Sandra S. Kupper, 75

Sandra S. Kupper, 75, of Huntingburg, formerly of Winslow, Indiana, passed away at 2:25 p.m., on Wednesday, December 3, 2014, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born February 16, 1939 in Pike County, Indiana, to Louis and Jessica L. (Jones) Stilwell. She married Joseph J. Kupper on August 29, 1987 at Salem United Church of Christ in Huntingburg.

Sandra was a retired caregiver and enjoyed listening to music, playing cards and dice games with her family, and watching western movies.

She was preceded in death by her father, Louis Stilwell and mother, Jessica Stephens; one son, Jeffery Scott Rainey; three brothers, Robert Stilwell, Wilbur Stilwell and Eugene Stilwell; two sisters, Helen Servant and Moncella Medford; one grandson, Terry Don Wheeler; and one great-granddaughter, Jozlin Ashby.

She is survived by her husband, Joseph Kupper of Huntingburg; one son, Mark Whitney of Petersburg; five daughters, Rebecca Perez of Huntingburg, Linda Perry of Oakland City, Tonya Wilson of Lenoir City, Tenn., LaDonna Turner of Princeton, and Amber Meadows of Princeton; one stepson, Greg Kupper of Huntingburg; and by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Sandra S. Kupper will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 6, 2014, at the Northside Christian Church in Huntingburg.  Pastor Ron Frazier will officiate at the service.  Interment of her cremains will take place later in the week at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the Stilwell Cemetery in Pikeville, Indiana.

Friends may call for visitation at the Northside Christian Church in Huntingburg from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m., on Saturday, the day of the funeral.  Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.  There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
