Sandra Kay Powell, 72

Sandra Kay Powell, 72, of Jasper, passed away at 2:37 a.m. Friday, June 20, 2014, at her home.

She was born at Richmond, Indiana on August 26, 1941 to Ora T. and Betty (Breese) Williams. She married Clinton E. Powell June 18, 1962 in Richmond, Indiana. He preceded her in death 2008.

Sandra retired from Inland Mortgage and Greenfield Banking Company in Richmond, Indiana where she had worked for many years.

Her cherished love of life and family was only surpassed by her devout Lutheran Faith and in her Savior and her beloved Church and Congregation of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville.

She is survived by a daughter, Krista S. Powell formerly Hessler,of Jasper; son, Gregory C. Powel of Jasper; five grandchildren;
Caitlyn Rose Powell of Villa Hills, Ky., Garrett Powell of Ireland, and Connor, Abby and Jacob Hessler all of Jasper.

Funeral services for Sandra Kay Powell will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, (June 24, 2014), in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville with entombment at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, (June 25, 2014), in Earlham Cemetery and Mausoleum at Richmond, Indiana.

Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. Monday, (June 23, 2014), at Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services on Tuesday at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Haysville, Indiana.
