Sandra Faye Henke, 65, Stendal

Sandra Faye Henke, 65, of Stendal, passed away Thursday, December 26, 2019, at St. Vincent Hospital in Evansville.

She was born June 14, 1954, in Huntingburg to John and Dorthea (Reller) Henke. 

Sandra was a retired furniture factory worker. She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal. She enjoyed reading romance novels. She loved animals. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Terry Henke.

She is survived by one son, Michael Henke of Stendal; three sisters, Connie Bush of Stendal, Lisa Luker of Jasper, and Kelly Aldridge of Winslow; and one brother, Rick Henke of Velpen.

A memorial service for Sandra Faye Henke will be held at 11:00 a.m. EST Saturday, January 4, 2020, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Stendal with burial to follow at St. Peter’s Lutheran Cemetery. Pastor Ed Wicks will officiate at the service. 

Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the funeral arrangements.
