Sally Lunsford, 73

Sally Lunsford, 73, of Huntingburg, died at 4:09 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 26, 2015, at her residence.

She was born in Hot Springs, Ark., on Jan. 8, 1942, to Mary Catherine (Siedel) and Homer Rayhill Jr.

Ms. Lunsford retired from the United States Department of Agriculture after 32 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Huntingburg. She enjoyed NASCAR races, casinos and her grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Kevin (Phyllis) Ramsey and wife Phyllis of Huntingburg; a brother, Steve Garner and wife Lynn of Georgia; six sisters, Jackie Purdue of Washington, Sherry Kaiser and husband Dean of Valparaiso, Christy Craig of Florida, Debby Clements of Coal City, Donna Voges and husband Pat of Shoals and Joan Straight and husband Mike of Montana; a brother-in-law, Steve Gray of Washington; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and nieces.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Ed Lee Mortuary in Washington. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery in Washington.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
