Ruth O. Fenneman, 100, Huntingburg

Ruth O. Fenneman, 100, Huntingburg, passed away at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3, 2016, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

She was born June 12, 1916, in Evansville, Indiana to Frank and Ida (Forston) Jones. She married Leonard W. Fenneman on April 17, 1945.

Ruth was a homemaker and member of the Duff Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard W. Fenneman, who passed away October 23, 1990; one son, Donny Fenneman, who passed away February 6, 1960; two sisters, Nettie Songer and infant Mary Jones; and three brothers, Forrest “Frosty” Jones, Arthur Jones and infant Harel Jones.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John (Becky) Fenneman of Huntingburg; three grandsons, William, Michael and Kenneth Fenneman all of Huntingburg.

Funeral services for Ruth O. Fenneman will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, 2016, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery near Duff.  Minister Larry Mickler will officiate at the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and also from noon to 1:00 p.m. on Sunday.
