Ruth Ann Dupps, 81, Oakland City
Ruth Ann Dupps, 81, of Oakland City, entered rest on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2021, at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Evansville.

She was born on May 19, 1939, in Loogootee to Glen and Helen (Soeder) Morgan.
Ruth graduated from St. John’s High School in Loogootee. She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and had worked at Buehler’s Buy-Low and East Gibson School Corporation. She was an avid Indiana Pacer’s fan, she loved playing Bunko, was a devoted John Wayne fan, and loved her family dearly.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Ken Dupps; daughter, Gina Dupps of Oakland City; sons, Gavin (Kim) Dupps, Craig (Sandy) Dupps, both of Oakland City and Dean (Stephanie) Dupps of Boonville; nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; sisters, Jane (Truman) Hedrick of Martinsville, Mona Harrison of Mooresville, Tana (Fred) Porter of Huntingburg, and a brother, Ted Morgan of Jasper; sister-in-law, Sandy Morgan of Indianapolis, IN.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Fr. Frank Renner celebrant. Burial will take place in Montgomery Cemetery. Private family visitation will be held at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel.
Due to Covid-19 mandates from Gov. Holcomb and CDC social distancing is still observed with limitation for attendance to all visitation and services. Face masks are required by state mandate upon entering the church.
