Roy Lee Young, 90, French Lick
Roy Lee Young, 90, of French Lick, entered into eternal rest on March 23, 2026.

He was born in West Baden Springs, Indiana, on March 5, 1936, to Joseph Riley and Ardella (Pierce) Young.
Roy married Dolores Watts on September 14, 1957, and she survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Margie Sullivan.
Roy was a truck driver most of his life, with his last job working as a mechanic at the Sheraton Hotel.
He enjoyed many years with the Saddle Club, motorcycle riding and long road trips with Dolores when making over-the-road runs. He had many assorted family pets over the years, many of which were “donated” at the foot of Mt. Aire Drive. Anyone could find love in their home.
Later in life, he and Dolores enjoyed a pretty day on the porch, planting a garden and reaping its harvest, tending chickens, and tinkering and fixing just about anything. Roy and Dolores loved their family and friends, but especially their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Roy is survived by his wife, Dolores Young; daughters, Kathy Hilger (Matt) and Karen Collins; sister, Anna Putnam (Chuck); stepsister, Jan Pollom; grandchildren, Jason, Amanda, Alex and Jessica; great-grandchildren, Jonas, Haydin, Oliver, Waylynn and Winchester.
A funeral ceremony will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home, French Lick, Indiana. A Private Burial will be at Highland Chapel Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Thursday, March 26, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
