Roy Allen Ingle, 84, New Albany

Roy Allen Ingle, 84, of New Albany, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 14, 2021, at the Timbers of Jasper.  

Roy was born in Huntingburg on February 16, 1937, to  Cecil E. Ingle and Eldena Taber-McNeil.  

He was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Korean War.  

Roy was a self-employed antique dealer. He enjoyed going to flea markets and playing cards.  

He is survived by one brother, Donald Taber Sr. (Marie) of Jasper; two nephews; Donald R. Taber Jr. (Jane) of Jasper and John Taber of Huntingburg; cousins and great-nieces and -nephews.   

Preceding him in death were his parents.  

Funeral services for Roy Allen Ingle will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper, Indiana with burial to follow at Shiloh Cemetery in Jasper. The American Legion Post #147 will conduct military graveside rites.  

A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. service time at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel on Tuesday.
