Rotary Club of Dubois County members participating in efforts to end polio

The Dubois County Rotary is encouraging local residents to support “World Polio Day” on October 24, 2024, by purchasing a “Happy Meal” at any McDonald’s location in Dubois County.

Mann Enterprises will donate 20% of their Happy Meal proceeds sold between 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. from their restaurants in Huntingburg, Ferdinand, and the two locations in Jasper. Funds raised will be used to help Rotary eradicate polio worldwide.

Although polio cases have been reduced by 99.9% and wild polio is only endemic in Afghanistan and Pakistan, polio anywhere is a threat to children everywhere.

If people cannot visit a McDonald’s, the Dubois County Rotary encourages people to donate at www.endpolio.org.
