Rotary Club of Dubois County awards $2,000 to Crisis Connection

The Rotary Club of Dubois County has awarded a $2,000 grant to Crisis Connection in support of its Set for Success program.

Set for Success helps survivors of domestic and sexual violence take meaningful steps toward safety, stability, and independence. Through flexible, individualized assistance, the program helps remove barriers that can make starting over difficult – from car repairs and transportation expenses to groceries, basic necessities, and securing a safe place to live.

Each year, the Rotary Club of Dubois County’s ATHENA Award recipient selects a local nonprofit organization or fund to receive a $2,000 contribution from proceeds of the annual ATHENA Leadership Awards Banquet. 2026 ATHENA Award recipient Somula “Sam” Schwoeppe selected Crisis Connection in recognition of the organization’s important work supporting survivors and helping individuals and families move forward with greater safety, stability, and hope.
