Rosemarie Sherry, 94, Jasper

Rosemarie Sherry, 94, Jasper, passed away at 2:46 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

Rosemarie was born in Pittsburg, Kansas on September 2, 1922, to Peter and Katherine (Burdick) Mauterer. She was married to and preceded in death by two husbands; Glen Daughtery and Clayton Sherry, both of whom died in 1975.

She was a 1940 graduate of Pittsburg High School. Rosemarie was a homemaker. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Wooster, Ohio, and very active in the United Methodist Women and the Esther Circle.

She loved sewing, quilting, and embroidery work.

She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Emerson and husband Herb of Jasper; two granddaughters, Wendy Dean and Dana Flexon; two great-grandsons, Alex and Nicklaus Dean.

In addition to her husbands, Rosemarie was preceded in death by one sister, Evelyn Conner and one brother, Jack Mauterer.

Private services for Rosemarie Sherry will be held at Becher-Kluesner Funeral Home in Jasper, IN with inurnment to follow at a later date.
