Rose T. Fabiano, 90

Rose T. Fabiano, age 90, of Jasper, passed away at 9:05 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2013, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center in Jasper.

Rose was born in Brooklyn NY on October 29, 1923 to Frank and Virtu (Parrotta) Gabriele. She married Rosario A. Fabiano on September 6, 1947 at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church in Brooklyn NY. He preceded her in death on May 18, 2007.

She was a homemaker, and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, IN.

She enjoyed visiting casino’s, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.

She is survived by one daughter, Letitia Marino of Jasper; one son, Frank Fabiano and wife, Charlene, of Evansville; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Frances Rankin of Titusville, Fla. and Emily Watson of Jasper.

Preceding her in death besides her husband are five sisters, Susan Serafino, Fanny Misiano, Connie Toreno, Grace Vecchio, Katherine Defazio.

Funeral services for Rose Fabiano will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 3-7 p.m. on Sunday, November 17, 2013, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper.
