Rose Marie Groemminger, 78

Rose Marie Groemminger, 78, of St. Anthony, Indiana, passed away at 1:18 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015, at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Rose was born on November 2, 1936 in Schnellville, Indiana to Maurice and Catherine (Miller) Stemle. She married Manfred Groemminger on February 11, 1964 in Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville.
She was a live in child care provider for many years and then retired from K-Mart in Jasper.
She was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the St. Anthony Community Center, and the St. Anthony Conservation Club.
She enjoyed gardening, reading, baking, and spending time with her grandchildren and friends and family.
She is survived by her husband, Manfred Groemminger of St. Anthony; one daughter, Becky Ann Schepers and her husband Victor of Holland; one son, Brian Keith Groemminger and his wife Jenny of Batesville; two grandchildren; five sisters, Rita Klem of St. Anthony, Clara Fisher and her husband Leonard of St. Anthony, Dorothy Blessinger of Schnellville, Carol Stemle of Schnellville, and Hilda Hoing and her husband James of Huntingburg; one sister-in-law, Susie Stemle of Huntingburg.
Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Ernest Stemle.
Funeral services for Rose Marie Groemminger will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2015, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana, with burial to follow in the Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 12, 2015, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, Indiana, and one hour before services at church on Friday.
