Rose Marie Eckerle, age 76 of Jasper, passed away at 9:15 a.m., Monday (March 5, 2012) at the Northwood Retirement Community of Jasper.

She was born October 4, 1935 in Jasper to Edgar “Hudson” and Gertrude (Reinacher) Schuetter. She married Ronald Eckerle on October 11, 1956. He preceded her in death on January 18, 1999.

Rose Marie was a homemaker and worked in retail sales for over 25 years.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and was a member of the Tri Kappa Sorority.

She enjoyed spending time with family, playing bridge, and many crafts, including needlepoint and ceramics.

Funeral services for Rose Marie Eckerle will be 9:30 a.m. on Friday (March 9, 2012) at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.

Friends may call from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m., Thursday (March 8, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
