Rose Lee Marie Denk, 90, Jasper
Rose Lee Marie Denk, 90, of Jasper, passed away at 3:01 p.m. on Monday, January 29, 2018, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper.

Rose Lee was born in Louisville, Ky., on December 30, 1927, to Albert and Clara (Buechler) Block. She married Eugene Denk on October 12, 1946, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2008.
She retired from the cafeteria at Jasper High School, where she worked until she was 85. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, Indiana. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing at the VFW, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are three daughters, Mary Lou McKinney (David) of Francisco, Ind., Barb Trambaugh (Tony) and Theresa Gehlhausen (Mark), both of Jasper; three sons, Mike Denk (Marla) of Portersville, Greg Denk (Kathy) of Greenwood, Ind., and Rick Denk (Diane) of Jasper; 18 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Preceding her in death beside her husband was one sister, Mary Virginia “Ginny” Jones, and two brothers, Cyril and James Block.
A Mass of Christian burial for Rose Lee Marie Denk will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel Home in Jasper.
