Rose C. Fuhs, 90, Jasper
Rose C. Fuhs, 90, of Jasper, passed away at 1:16 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2018, at Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.

Rose worked for many years at the former Jasper Glove Company in Jasper. Her memberships included Precious Blood Catholic Church, the Ladies Sodality of Precious Blood and the Jasper Deanery Adoration Chapel. Life member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary to V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper.
She was an avid quilter who quilted for 30 years for Precious Blood Church picnics and crocheting. She especially enjoyed playing cards and spending time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by four daughters, Jane Blakeman (Eric) of Henderson, Carol Hopf of Jasper, Donna Wendholt (John) of Jasper and Susan Hollis (James) of Columbia, S.C.; sons, Richard Fuhs (Ellen) of West Lafayette, Don Fuhs (Pamela) of Jasper and John Fuhs (Cheryl) of Ada, Mich.; 20 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Knust (Donald) of Ferdinand; one brother, Charles Buechler (Betty) of Bristow.
Preceding her in death besides her husband John L. Fuhs are one sister, Sadie Hochgesang and three brothers, Jacob Buechler, Linus O. Buechler and Robert Buechler. Also one son-in-law, Daniel Hopf.
Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at Precious Blood Catholic Church with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church (10 to 11 a.m). Rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday by the Precious Blood Sodality at church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Precious Blood Catholic Church or to a favorite charity.
