Rosalie Denu, 62, Charleston, S.C.

Rosalie Denu passed away on September 8, 2022, at her home in Charleston, S.C.

She was born in Perry County to Olivia and Clarence Hagedorn on October 9, 1949.

She married John Denu on December 7, 1968, in St. Ferdinand Catholic church  He preceded her in death on July 14, 2020.

She retired from Matrix Ingretation in Jasper. Following her retirement, she and her husband moved to Charleston to continue their love for sailing their sailboat, Sabbatical. They spent several years at Patoka Lake, making many friends  She also loved her dachshunds, Schatz and Ella Rose, and spending happy hour with friends.

Rosie is survived by a son, Shane Denu of Charleston; sisters, LaVerne and Robert Grundhoefer of Santa Claus, Mary Ann and Bill Hoge of the Villages, Fla.; Clara Pfister and Michael of Evansville and sister-in-law Marilyn Hagedorn of Ferdinand; brothers, Michael Hagedorn of Bristow, Bernard and Deborah of Wheatland and Fred and Belle Ann Hagedorn of Ferdinand.

Preceding her in death was her husband, John; brother, John Hagedorn; sister-in-law, Karen Hagedorn and parents, Olivia and Clarence Hagedorn.

Arrangements are pending later for burial in Beaufort Military Cemetary N.C.
