Ronnie M. Bowman, Sr., 73, Scottsburg, Ind.

Ronnie M. Bowman, Sr., 73, of Scottsburg, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 24, 2025.

Born August 19, 1951, in Knott County, Kentucky, to parents Clarence E. Bowman, Sr and Hattie E. Mullins-Bowman.\

He was raised in Austin, Indiana with his siblings, Clarence, Jr (Bug), James, Carl, Dot, and Mike.

He became a single father at 22 years old to his oldest son, Ronnie Jr. Ronnie worked for Valleo Sylvania in Seymour, Indiana where he retired after 20-plus years.

He loved The Beatles and was extremely proud of his family, talking about them to anyone that would listen.

He was preceeded in death by his parents; wife, Veronica (Ruth); three brothers and a sister.

He is survived by his brother James of Charlestown, Ind.; two sons, Ronnie Jr. (Sandy) of Huntingburg and Curtis Fosbrink (Elizabeth) of Columbus, Ind.; and grandkids Chandler, Robert, and Braydon.

Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana, with Rev. Curtis White officiating.

Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday at Buchanan Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Bowman Family Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
