Ronnie “Jonsy” Jones, 66, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8:10 a.m., on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at his home.

He was born February 19, 1956, in Huntingburg, to Ora A. and Freida I. (Mitchell) Jones. 

Ronnie was employed at Dubois Wood Products. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards and gardening. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one niece, Tracy Hensley.

He is survived by one sister, Debbie Hensley of Huntingburg; his special aunt, Mayme Lytle of Oakland City, Ind.; and by one niece, Charity (Jay) Schaad of Leopold, Ind.

Funeral services for Ronnie “Jonsy” Jones will be held at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Burial will follow at Community Chapel Adams Cemetery in Eckerty. Doug Hachemeister will officiate the service.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022.
