Ronald Ray Thacker, 67

Ronald Ray Thacker, age 67, of Spencer, Indiana, formerly of Huntingburg, passed away at 4:29 p.m., Thursday, April 24, 2014, at I.U. Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana.

He was born April 10, 1947 in Evansville, Indiana, to Robert Henry and Genevieve (Slaughter) Thacker, in a family of 13 children.  Ron was never married and formerly worked at Wendy’s Restaurant in Jasper.  He is survived by brothers and sisters.

Funeral services for Ron Thacker will be held at 11:00 a.m., E.D.T., on Thursday, May 1, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg.
