Ronald R. Durcholz, 66

Ronald R. Durcholz, age 66 of Jasper, passed away at 8:05 a.m. Monday, November 25, 2013, in the Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.

He was born in Jasper, Indiana, May 14, 1947, to Leo J. Durcholz and Anita Brelage Durcholz.

Ron was a graduate of Jasper High School and served in the US Air force in Vietnam.

He retired from Springs Valley Bank & Trust in Jasper where he was a financial consultant.

He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Jasper Knight of Columbus and the V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper.

Ron also served on the Military Honor Squad funeral detail for the V.F.W. Post #673 in Jasper.

He is survived by one daughter, Kelly Eppler and husband, Carl, of Nashville, Tenn.; one son, Kreg Durcholz of Indianapolis; three sisters, Bernice Rottet, Verne Sermersheim, and Irma Kinder, all of Jasper; and two brothers, James Durcholz and wife, Linda, of Evansville, and Leonard Durcholz and wife, Sharon, of Jasper.

Preceding him in death are two brothers, Eugene and Cletus Durcholz.

Funeral services for Ron Durcholz will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013, in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper.

V.F.W. Post # 673 in Jasper will conduct military graveside rites.

Visitation one hour before services in St. Joseph Catholic Church.
