Ronald Jahn, 71

Ronald Jahn, age 71, of St. Anthony, Indiana, passed away at 6:00 p.m. CST on Thursday, November 28, 2013, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Collierville, Tenn.

Ron was born on March 28, 1942 in St. Anthony to Otto and Clara (Klem) Jahn. He married Darlene Nord on May 17, 1969 at St. Meinrad Catholic Church in St. Meinrad Indiana.

Ron was retired from OFS Brands.

He was an U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany for two years.

He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church and the St. Anthony American Legion Post #493.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and was an IU Basketball and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his wife, Darlene Jahn of St. Anthony; two daughters, Lisa Harmon and her husband Steve, of Collierville, Tenn., and  Luann Brames and her husband Jason, of Danville, Ind.; one brother, Larry Jahn and his wife Jeanette, of St. Anthony; three grandchildren, Austin and Katelyn Harmon, and Ethan Brames.

Preceding him in death is one brother Robert Jahn, one infant sister Mary Henrietta Jahn, and one grandchild, Logan Harmon.

Funeral services for Ronald Jahn will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in St. Anthony, IN with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #493 will conduct military graveside rites.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. on Tuesday (December 3, 2013) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper.
