Ronald Colwell Hubster, age 78, of Aiea, Hawaii, passed away last year on September 3, 2011 in Hawaii and was cremated.

A graveside service to bury his cremains will be held at 1:00 p.m., E.D.T., on Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Fairmount Cemetery in Huntingburg, Indiana. Rev. Mark West will officiate the service and the V.F.W. Post #2366 Memorial Detail will conduct military graveside rites. The public is invited to attend and should meet directly at the graveside between 12:45 to 1:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon. Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg has been entrusted with the arrangements.

Mr. Hubster was born March 1, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana. His parents were Samuel Lincoln and Elsie Seraphine (Aho) Hubster, Sr.. They both preceded him in death along with his wife, Kumoko “Kumo” Hubster; and one brother, Sam Hubster, Jr.. Ronald spent his career in the United States Airforce and served in the Korean War.

He is survived by:

  • Rebecca Hubster – Aiea, HI
  • Barbara Adams – Jasper, IN

One son, John Hubster – CO

One brother, Edward Hubster – San Antonio, TX,

by (7) grandchildren and (3) great grandchildren.
