Ronald Albert Denu, 81, Jasper

Ronald Albert Denu, 81, Jasper, passed away at 11:03 a.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at home.

Ronald was born in Jasper April 2, 1935, to Gilbert F. and Josepha (Goeppner) Denu. He married Norma J. Kluemper on October 14, 1961. She preceded him in death on October 21, 2000.

Ronald retired from Ruxer Ford in Jasper, where he was a mechanic for over 20 years. He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Jasper and the Jasper Outdoor Recreation. He enjoyed fishing, playing cards, and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.

He is survived by one daughter, Debra Goeppner and her husband Ronnie of Jasper; one son, Mark Denu of Jasper; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one sister, Judith Foster of Washington, Ind.; her caregiver and granddaughter,
Denise Brinksneader and her husband Ryan of Jasper.

Preceding him in death besides his wife, is one brother, Robert Denu.

Private funeral services will be held at a later date.
