Roger Romine, 68

Roger Romine, age 68, of Petersburg, Indiana, passed away at 9:35 p.m., Monday, November 11, 2013, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.

He was born March 6, 1945 in Anderson, Indiana to Keith and Doris (Wheeler) Romine. Roger was a retired truck driver and enjoyed attending drag races. He was preceded in death by: one son, Donnie Romine.

He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Brian (Becky) Romine of Stendal; one daughter, Patsy Romine of Oskaloosa, Iowa; two sisters, Penny Barkley of Huntingburg and Rita Romine; three brothers, Donovan Romine of Benson, Ariz., Rodney Romine of Anderson, Ind., Kevin Nalley of Duff, Ind.; and one grandson, Mikel Hynick of Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Funeral services for Roger Romine will be held at 2:00 p.m., E.S.T., Friday, November 15th, 2013 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg. Visitation will be held at the Nass & Son Chapel from noon-2:00 p.m., on Friday, the day of the funeral.

Interment of his cremains will follow two weeks later at Sunset Cemetery in Winslow, Indiana. A graveside committal service is set for 2:00 p.m., on Friday, November 29th, 2013.
