Roger L. Marten, 62, Jasper

Roger L. Marten, 62, of Jasper, formerly of Cottage Grove, Wisc., passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at home.

Roger was born in Madison, Wisconsin, on April 8, 1959, to Elmer and Wilma (Sermersheim) Marten.

He was a 1978 graduate of Monona Grove High School in Monona, Wisconsin.

He was a mechanic for many years.

Roger liked to collect toy trucks and had an interest in antiques.

He is survived by one brother, Michael (Sharon) Marten of Beloit, Wisc.; one sister, Cheryl Marten of Madison, Wisc.; one half-sister, Jacklyn McKee of Jasper; many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death are his parents and one brother-in-law, Edward McKee.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
