Robert “Rocky” Owen, 81, Huntingburg

Robert “Rocky” Owen, 81, of Huntingburg, passed away on October 15, 2025.

He was born on October 14, 1944, in Washington, to parents William P. and Frieda M. (Cannon) Owen.

Rocky married Diana M. Owen on August 28, 1998.

He retired from MasterBrand Cabinet Company in Ferdinand and attended the Huntingburg Nazarene Church.

Rocky enjoyed deer hunting, computers, and the outdoors. 

Survivors include his wife, Diana Owen of Huntingburg; daughter, Scarlett Duke (Michael) of Paoli; son, Theron Robert Owen (Kimberly) of Paoli; stepdaughters, Melissa Rives of Carthage, MS, and Tammy Conkle of Huntingburg; grandchildren, Josh Duke, Autumn Baker (Taylor), Dustin Conkle, and Tyler Simmons (Courtney); great-grandchildren, Austin Duke, Berkley Duke, Cameron Duke, Robert Duke, Baylin Baker, Chase Baker, Delaney Baker, Deslyn, Luella, Colby, Preston, and Carson; sisters, Judy Chandler of Riley and Ellen Chapman (Lonnie) of Birdseye; sister-in-law, Bev Owen of Mitchell; best friend, Jim Lawrence of Huntingburg; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ron Owen, and brother-in-law, Terry Chandler.
