Robert R. Bittner, 71

Robert R. Bittner, 71, of Tell City, Indiana, passed away at 12:20 p.m., Monday, July 21, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Tell City.

He was born October 15, 1942 in Evansville, Indiana, to Darvin and Leola (Briggeman) Bittner. Bob retired as a welder with Bard’s Furnaces & Air Conditioning in Bryan, Ohio. He enjoyed reading the bible and singing gospel music; and was a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Infantry.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and one infant brother, Walter Bittner.

He is survived by two sons, Paul Bittner of Amarillo, Texas and Eli Bittner of Jasper; two grandsons, Frederick Kloepper and Anthony Bittner.

Funeral services for Robert R. Bittner will be held at 2:00 p.m., EST, Thursday, July 24, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Mayo Cemetery near Duff, Indiana. Reverend Robert Campbell will officiate at the services.
