Robert Lee Hasenour, 74

Robert Lee Hasenour, age 74, of St. Anthony, Indiana passed away at 9:45 p.m. on Friday, March 14, 2014, at IU Health Simon Cancer Center.
Robert was born on March 26, 1939 in St. Anthony, Indiana to Clement and Catherine (Haas) Hasenour. He married Patti Gogel on September 23, 1961 in Precious Blood Catholic Church in Jasper.
He was an United States Army Veteran, serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis.
He retired from Schmidt Contracting, where he had worked for many years as an HVAC technician.
He was a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, the American Legion Post #493, along with helping out with multiple community organizations.
He enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife, Patti Hasenour, of St. Anthony; sons, Scott Hasenour, and his wife, Rhonda, of St. Anthony, and Jason Hasenour, and his wife Stacy, of Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Brandon, Travis, and Dillon Hasenour and Addison, Cane, and Alexis Hasenour; four sisters, Dorothy Blessinger, of Jasper, Marian Hopf, and her husband Tom, of Jasper, Kathy Kluemper, and her husband, Don, of Huntingburg, and Laverne Begle, and her husband Hilary, of Ferdinand.
Preceding him in death are an infant daughter, Mary Hasenour, two sons, Wayne and Bryan Hasenour, two sisters, Delores Wehr of Ireland and Margie Rasche of Jasper, and two brothers, Jerome and Allen Hasenour, both of Huntingburg.
Funeral services for Robert Lee Hasenour will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21, 2014, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in St. Anthony, Indiana with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The American Legion Post #493 will conduct military gravesite rites.
Friends may call from 3:00-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper, and one hour before services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Anthony Catholic Church Cemetery Fund.
