Robert Lee “Bob” Sims, 39

Robert Lee “Bob” Sims, 39, of Petersburg, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2014, at his home.

He was born January 5, 1975 in Washington, Indiana, to Lawrence and Beverly (Hazelton) Sims.  Bob worked as a general construction laborer.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Sims, who passed away October 13, 2002.

He is survived by his brother, David M. Sims of Petersburg; his grandmother, Grace I. Hazelton of Petersburg; his step-grandfather, Gary L. White of Petersburg; his father, Lawrence Sims of Evansville; and one daughter, Laura who lives in Tennessee.

Funeral services for Bob Sims will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg with burial to follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.  Pastor Gary Blackwell will officiate at the services.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 12:00-2:30 p.m. on Sunday, the day of the service.
