Robert L. Stetter, 74

Robert L. Stetter, 74, of Huntingburg, passed away at 8:10 p.m., on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at the Indiana University Health Medical Center in Indianapolis.

He was born May 8, 1941 in Huntingburg, Indiana, to Valentine and Delores (Hackman) Stetter.

Robert was a farmer and worked for Kimball International. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church; enjoyed gardening; and served in the United States Army as a military policeman at White Sands, New Mexico.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; one brother-in-law, Edwin Hopf; and one sister-in-law, Sandy Stetter.

He is survived by two sisters, Frances Hopf of Huntingburg and Mary Ann Stetter of Huntingburg; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Raymond Stetter of Huntingburg, Charles Stetter of Huntingburg, Ind. and James “Shortie” (spouse, Mary Kay) Stetter of Huntingburg; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Robert Stetter will be held at 10:00 a.m. EDT on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg with burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Huntingburg.

Friends may call for visitation at the Nass & Son Funeral Home in Huntingburg from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday; and also from 8:30-9:30 a.m., Saturday.  A parish rosary prayer service will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday evening at the funeral home.
