Robert L. Hoffman, age 78, Schnellville, Indiana passed away at 1:15 a.m. (Thursday, December 15, 2011) in Memorial Hospital & Health Care Center in Jasper.
He was born June 7, 1933 at Schnellville, Indiana to Ignatz and Elizabeth (Johanneman) Hoffman. He married Shirley Temple February 1, 1958; she preceded him in death February 17, 2011.
Robert was a Korean Army Veteran and retired Farmer in the Schnellville community.
He is a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Schnellville -St. Anthony American Legion – St. Schnellville Community Club and Schnellville Conservation Club.

One daughter,

Three sons,
- Daron Hoffman and spouse Karen
- Danny Hoffman and spouse Karen both of Schnellville, IN
- David Hoffman and spouse Susan, Celestine, IN
Ten grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Preceding him in death besides his wife are brothers, George, Oscar, Jacob and Theodore Hoffman also one sister Susan Fleck.
Funeral services for Robert L. Hoffman will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday (December 19, 2011) in Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial to follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. St. Anthony American Legion will conduct military rites.
Friends may call Sunday from 11-7 p.m. Sunday at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Chapel in Jasper and one hour before services at church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to the Sacred Heart Cemetery Fund.
