Robert L. “Bobby” Smith, 75, Loogootee

Robert L. “Bobby” Smith, 75, of Loogootee, passed away at 12:05 p.m. Thursday, November 1, 2018, at Memorial Hospital and Healthcare Center.

He was born March 28, 1943, in Washington, Indiana to the late Charles L. and Regina (Clements) Smith.

Bobby married Carolyn (Rayhill) Smith April 13, 1963, and she survives.

He retired from North American Products after 42 years of employment. Bobby’s favorite past time was fishing.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Charles L. and Regina (Clements) Smith and brother, Charles “Mick” Smith.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn (Rayhill) Smith of Loogootee; son, Troy (Terri) Smith of Loogootee; grandson, Trey Smith; nieces, Amie Jo Kunellis and Alisha Smith.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, November 5, 2018, at Blake Funeral Home in Loogootee. Burial will follow in Goodwill Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 4, 2018, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Blake Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Heart Association or the Martin County Humane Society.
