Robert L. Blessinger, 70, Mammoth Spring, Ark.

Robert L. Blessinger, 70, of Mammoth Spring, Ark., formerly of Jasper, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at his sister’s home in Mammoth Spring, Ark.

Robert was born February 4, 1950, in Jasper to Silas M. and Mary Ann Blessinger.

Robert honorably served in the Unites States Navy. Robert was a member of the VFW and the American Legion in Jasper, and a member of the Moose Lodge in Jasper.

He is survived two sisters, Dorothy R. Parks of Mammoth Spring, Ark. and Carol Jean Merter of Jasper; one brother, Silas Blessinger, Jr. of Avilla, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; other relatives; and many friends.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Mary Blessinger; one sister, Theresa Ann Blessinger; and one brother, Edward Blessinger.

Private services were held in Arkansas, with burial at a later date in St. Paul’s Cemetery in Haysville.
