Robert Knust, age 80
Robert Knust, age 80, of Jasper, passed away at 10:05 p.m., Saturday (August 11, 2012) at Northwood Retirement Community in Jasper.
He was born in Jasper, IN on June 19, 1932 to Louis and Leona (Schmitt) Knust. He married Betty Jo Heitz on February 8, 1958 at St Mary’s Catholic Church in Huntingburg.
He was a cabinet maker at Jasper Cabinet Co, and retired from there after 30 years of service. He was a member of the 152 division of the Indiana National Guard and a member of the 152 National Guard Rifle Team.
He enjoyed collecting and repairing old clocks, fishing, and traveling.

Funeral services for Robert Knust will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday (August 16, 2012) at St Joseph Catholic Church in Jasper, IN, with entombment to follow in Fairview Cemetery Mausoleum in Jasper.
Friends may call from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday (August 15, 2012) at the Becher-Kluesner Downtown Funeral Home in Jasper.
