Robert J. “Bob” Hillyer, 54, Birdseye
Robert J. “Bob” Hillyer, 54, of Birdseye, passed away at 4:23 a.m. on Wednesday, March 6, 2019, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
Bob was born in Pekin, Ill., on June 13, 1964, to Kenneth Sr. and Joyce (Goetze) Hillyer.
He was a graduate of Pekin High School in Illinois He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of the Operating Engineers Local 181 Union.
He is survived by one daughter, Tiffany Hays (James) of Okeechobee, Fla.; one son, Jacob Hillyer of Greenwood, Ind.; two grandchildren, Corbitt
Preceding him in death were his parents and one sister, Mary Hillyer.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Robert “Bob” Hillyer will be held by the family at a later date.
Becher-Kluesner Funeral Homes in Jasper are in charge of arrangements.
