Robert “Hank” Brahm, 63, Ferdinand

Robert “Hank” Brahm, 63, of Ferdinand, passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Newburgh.

Hank was born October 28, 1962, in Huntingburg to Robert and Micky (Leinenbach) Brahm.

He married Valery Greulich on September 16, 1995, in Lincoln City.

Hank enjoyed deer hunting, fishing, mushroom hunting, camping and side-by-side riding. He was also a collector of classic cars. Hank helped make wonderful memories with his family on vacations. He was always willing to help anyone he could.

Hank is survived by his wife Valery; children, Hank (Cassi) Brahm of St. Meinrad and Shelby (Brennan) Chandler of Santa Claus; his mother, Micky (Ron) Smith of Ferdinand; siblings, Debbie (Billy) Stenftenagel of Jasper, Jackie (Terry) Messmer of Stendal, Sherri (John) Schipp of Ferdinand, David (Lisa) Brahm of Ferdinand, and Gwen (Steve) Young of Kennesaw, GA; a stepsister, Debbie (Greg) Beck of Jasper; stepbrother, Randy Smith of Patoka; as well as two beloved grandchildren Mason and Marleigh Chandler; and many special nieces and nephews.

Hank was preceded in death by his father, Hank Brahm Sr., brother, Johnny Brahm and a sister, Karen Brahm.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 7th at 6:00 p.m. EST at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. EST until the time of services.
