Robert E. Reckelhoff, 74

Robert E. Reckelhoff, age 74, passed away at 3:15 a.m. Tuesday, February 11, 2014, in St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born in Jasper on January 20, 1940 to Othmar and Dorothy (Brosmer) Reckelhoff.

He was a graduate of Huntingburg High School.

Bob managed the Huntingburg Eagles for many years and also worked at the former Twin Front Restaurant in Jasper.

He was a member of Huntingburg Eagles Club, Jasper Moose Lodge #1175, the Jasper Outdoor Recreation Club and the Sons of The American Legion.

He is survived by his sister, Mary Hudson and husband Gerald, of Jasper; five nieces and one nephew – Donna Hudson, Janet Hudson Judd, Cindy Lindauer, Wanda Jones and Terri Lenoir and Jerry Hudson.

Funeral services for Robert Reckelhoff will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2014, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper with burial to follow in St. Raphael’s Cemetery in Dubois, Indiana. Fr. Ray Brenner will officiate.

Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014, at the funeral home.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday by the Loyal Order of the Moose at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Association.
