Robert Dean “Bobby Dean” Qualkenbush, 79, West Baden Springs

Robert Dean “Bobby Dean” Qualkenbush, 79, of West Baden Springs, entered into eternal rest on August 17, 2021.

He was born in Daviess County, Indiana, on July 20, 1942, to Robert and Ruby (Stevens) Qualkenbush.

Bobby Dean married Collene A. Grigsby on October 16, 1965, and she survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.

Bobby Dean was a 1960 graduate of Springs Valley High School and proudly served his country in the United States Navy where he served on the U.S.S. Saratoga during the Vietnam Conflict. He retired from Watkins Motor Lines.

He is survived by his wife, Collene Qualkenbush of West Baden Springs; son, Stephen Qualkenbush (Christina) of Nicholson Valley; daughter, Stephanie Miller (Donnie) of West Baden Springs; three grandchildren, Michael “Robbie” Watson (Christina) of Dubois, Amanda Qualkenbush and Matthew Qualkenbush of Nicholson Valley; three great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; 10 step-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Ceremony will be conducted Saturday, August 21st, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Brosmer-Kemple Funeral Home with burial at Crystal Cemetery.

Visitation will be Friday, August 20, 2021, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
